Here's why.

Celebrating its 16th year in 2025, The Great Give is returning on May 7-8. This 36-hr, online, community-wide giving event was created by The Community Foundation for Greater New Haven to raise visibility and resources for nonprofits serving Greater New Haven. Last year, thanks to the generosity of thousands of donors, the efforts of participating organizations, and sponsorships, the event raised an impressive $3.87 million for a record number of 553 local nonprofits. This year - on to $4 million!!!.

On May 7 -8, supporters can make an online gift to Broadway on Main
Theatre Company, and every gift will be augmented by funds from the
Foundation. We are also eligible for cash prizes throughout the event.
Every gift you give, no matter how small, will reap additional benefits that
will help us grow exponentially.
Our financial goal for this fundraiser is $15,000

 Your donation will help us build the programs that will further our mission of  empowering youth and adults in the Greater New Haven community through professional theater education and performance in a safe, supportive, bilingual environment. We use theater as a powerful tool to raise mental health awareness, fostering empathy, resilience, and dialogue among our cast, crew, and audiences. Through strong community partnerships and robust scholarship support, we ensure our programs remain accessible to all, creating lasting impact both on and off the stage. Together, we aim to build a healthier, more compassionate world through the arts.
