Registration Policies and Procedures
ATTENDANCE:
Broadway on Main kindly asks everyone to be on time for all rehearsals and performances. Tardiness and absenteeism crucially affect the quality of the show. Participation in all rehearsals and performances is required. Any scheduling conflict must approved ahead of time by the director. If you will be arriving late, we ask that you let us know in advance by emailing our director at carla@broadwayonmain.org
* When dropping off and picking up youth please use our parking lot in the rear of our building on Doran St.
FOOD/BEVERAGES:
NO FOOD IS ALLOWED. Please make sure you or your child before rehearsals and shows. . The only beverage allowed is water.
EMERGENCY:
In case of an emergency, parents and/or emergency contact will be notified. In the event of insufficient or inaccurate information on the registration form, BOM and its affiliates are not responsible for notifying appropriate guardian. If any information changes at any point, it is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to notify the staff.
ATTIRE:
Formal dance wear is not required. We ask that cast members wear comfortable clothing but avoid the following
inappropriate attire:
Skirts, flip flops, sandals or open toe shoes of any kind.
Belly Shirts, Halter Tops, Short shorts, see through fabric etc.
If you own your own dance shoes please bring them. Students will need Flat jazz/character shows. if you need to purchase shoes please see our dance director Gina Helland to place an order.
TICKET SALES:
Adult performers are responsible for the sale of a minimum of 10 tickets to the show and 1 full page playbill ad.
SCRIPT/LIBRETTO:
During the first day of rehearsals adults and teens will be given a professional rented copy of the script/libretto. Care of all rented materials is the responsibility of the actor. A $75 deposit is required for you to check out rehearsal materials from the rental companies; when the materials are RETURNED UNDAMAGED (rental books must be clean — all markings must be erased), deposit will be refunded.
CASTING:
By registering you agree to accept whatever role is assigned without question or complaints to our directors.
CELLPHONE POLICY
The use of cellphones and or electronic devices is not permitted during rehearsals and shows. In case of an emergency please contact our producer Billy DiCrosta at 203-376-0609.
BOM and its affiliates are not responsible for any lost, damaged or stolen goods. In order to avoid disruptions during rehearsals and performances, please email all non emergency comments and queries to carla@broadwayonmain.org
MEDIA RELEASE
By registering you grant BOM and those acting for or on its behalf, including, without limitation, it’s advertising and design agencies and publishers, the right and permission to use photograph(s), likeness, and or interview, in any form and in any media for advertising, publicity, trade, and any other lawful purposes.
CANCELLATIONS
Any cancellations made after casting has announced are non-refundable and non-creditable.
